Brief description
The RUWI vertical clamp holds your workpiece in place from above on the table—a toggle clamp designed for the 20-mm hole pattern. You can secure it at any grid position using the stainless steel clamping bolt with an Allen screw (SW 6). With a length of 244 mm, it easily spans panels, frames, and individual parts that you want to securely hold in place while milling, drilling, or sawing.
Its advantage is the stepless height adjustment of up to 40 mm: Once roughly adjusted, the lever compensates for varying material thicknesses without requiring you to readjust. When opened, the arm automatically retracts 35 mm, releasing the workpiece—which makes changing parts quick, especially when you’re clamping and unclamping many identical parts one after another.
If you need more clamping force and are using a screw for this purpose, the Bessey TW16 screw clamp is the stronger option; you can clamp it against a stop on the side using the horizontal clamp. The vertical clamp fits any RUWI lift table and any table with a 20-mm standard thread. You can find additional clamping accessories in the lift table system.
