Accessories

The ASC 55 charger charges batteries from the CAS system (Cordless Alliance System)—including the 18-volt battery used to power the RUWI lifting table 400 XL battery. Since the lifting table comes without a battery or charger, the ASC 55 is the perfect match; it also charges your existing CAS batteries from Metabo, Mafell, Lamello, or Prebena—across the entire voltage range from 12 to 36 volts.

The air-cooled charging technology (AIR COOLED) dissipates heat during charging and protects the cells. With an output of 55 watts and a charging current of 3 to 4 amps, the 18-volt battery with a capacity of 5.5 Ah is fully charged in about 110 minutes; it operates on a standard 230-volt power supply, and an instruction manual is included.

Here's how to use it

  • Charging the lifting table battery: one battery powers the table, while the other is connected to the ASC 55—the swap takes about 110 minutes, so the height adjustment never stops.
  • One charging station for everything: from the 12-V Lamello to the 36-V Mafell battery, a single device charges the entire CAS fleet—one outlet instead of four.
  • Gentle on the cells for years: Air cooling keeps the charging temperature low—and the expensive LiHD packs repay the favor with a longer service life.

The ASC 55 charges all CAS system batteries ranging from 12 to 36 volts. The compatible battery for the lifting table is the CAS 18 V, 5.5 Ah battery; together, these two components make the lifting table Classic 400 XL battery ready for use.
