Brief description

The CAS battery is the 18-volt battery pack with a capacity of 5.5 Ah (99 Wh) that powers the RUWI lifting table XL Cordless —which is shipped without a battery. It is a LiHD lithium-ion battery from the CAS system (Cordless Alliance System) and is therefore also compatible with tools and chargers from Mafell, Lamello, Metabo, and other CAS partners.

It charges via the ASC 55 charger: its air-cooled charging technology dissipates heat during charging and protects the cells. If the battery is not in use, it barely loses charge – self-discharge is low, so it's ready for use even after a long break.
