The RUWI plate is a basic component of the RUWI clamping system: a galvanized steel plate that you can use as a stop or a mounting base. You mount it on the side of a clamping plate or a welding table, rest workpieces against it, or mount additional clamping and stop components on it—the plate engages with profiles with a slot of 6 to 8.

Here's how to use it

Set the stop edge: When mounted on the side, the plate provides a firm support for the workpiece—position, clamp, and machine.
Mounting clamps: The open 180-plate accommodates the RUWI quick-release clamps via its M6 thread—this places the clamping point exactly where the assembly needs it.
Expanding the setup: The plate serves as a mounting base, connecting additional stop and clamping components to the structure—piece by piece.

When ordering, select based on the application: Short (100 × 30 mm) and Medium (150 × 30 mm) are the stop and connecting plates, while Long (open, 180 × 40 mm with M6 thread) is the mounting plate for clamps—four of these are also included in the Premium Clamping System Set. The overview shows the matching quick-release clamps; the corresponding brackets are available as “RUWI ” brackets.
