RUWI Shelf Cart

The RUWI shelving cart is a mobile storage and staging system for workshops, assembly lines, and production facilities—developed in our own RUWI production facility and manufactured in Germany. With a base area of approximately 100 × 61 cm and a height of 167 cm, it can hold up to 250 kg, distributed across its shelves (50 kg per shelf). The aluminum frame with powder-coated steel components is scratch- and impact-resistant; four shelves, a functional back panel, and two functional side panels are included.

You can adjust the height and angle of the shelves tool-free : straight for stackable Euro boxes, angled for open-shelf storage that allows quick access—the folded edge can face either upward (stop) or downward (smooth edge). Systainers and other storage containers also fit. The shelves, sides, and back panel are magnetic: KANBAN cards and labels stay in place without adhesive, allowing you to clearly manage materials and restocking.

Here's how to use it

• Transporting assembly materials: The cart is loaded in the workshop and rolls to the workstation fully stocked—brakes engaged, everything within easy reach.
• Slanted open-shelf storage: Shelves angled at an incline display the contents of the containers from the front—allowing you to reach items without searching and see when restocking is needed at a glance.
• Kanban-based management: The card sticks to the floor magnetically, moves along with the container, and signals when a refill is needed—without leaving any adhesive residue when rearranging.
• Adapting on the fly: Move the floors tool-free as the project changes—the small-parts warehouse becomes a panel warehouse in minutes.

The cart comes pre-assembled—all you have to do is screw on the castors . If you need a sturdy work surface on top for storing items and working, the RUWI workshop cart is the alternative—same design, with an HPL worktop. You can expand both with functional panels, tool racks, and roll holders (accessories sold separately); the shelving cart matches the RUWI lift tables in both design and height.
