Profile Rail for Mounting Adapters

The profile rail is an anodized aluminum profile (40 × 40 mm, 400 mm long) with pre-drilled holes—the connecting link between the external table and RUWI accessories. When mounted on side profiles such as Minitec, Item, or Festool MFT, it provides the RUWI table extension and other accessories with a track along which you can slide and precisely position them. The ends are open on both sides and sealed with end caps.

Here's how to use it

• Retrofitting a third-party table: The rail screws onto the side profile using the pre-drilled holes—afterward, the table can accommodate RUWI accessories such as a lifting table.
• Moving accessories: table extension and supports move along the track to where the workpiece needs them—and stay firmly in place.
• Insert the clamps: the open ends accommodate the rail clamps—the cover caps keep the slot clean until it is needed.

The rail complements the RUWI mounting adapter, which allows the RUWI table extension can be attached to third-party tables—together, these three components form the retrofit system for Minitec, Item, and MFT profiles. You don’t need the rail on RUWI lifting tables: their side profiles already serve as the rail right out of the factory. The overview shows the lifting table system.
