The clamping bracket securely and flushly connects an aluminum profile with slot 8 to a 20-mm grid-hole table. On one side, the bracket engages in the profile groove; on the other, a stainless steel clamping bolt (Ø 20 mm) fits into the grid hole—this allows you to assemble stops, supports, and custom jigs made from system profiles directly on the work surface.
The fastening is achieved using an Allen screw: When tightened, wedge-shaped pieces inside the bolt spread apart and clamp it securely in the hole—ensuring a secure hold even under lateral loads. Because the connection is exceptionally flat, it adds virtually no bulk, and workpieces glide smoothly across the table without any protrusions getting in the way.
Here's how to use it
- Build your own stops: a 40-series profile across the table, two clamping brackets—the guide edge is right where you need it, and disappears just as quickly.
- Securing fixtures: Profile assemblies for recurring parts fit securely into the grid—the wedge spread holds even when the workpiece exerts lateral pressure.
- Stay low: The low profile allows workpieces to glide over the joint—no bumping, no lifting.
- Combining two standards: the industry-standard aluminum profile meets the 20-mm grid—Item components are put to work on the carpenter’s bench.
