Brief description

The router bit processes the top and bottom edge of a workpiece in one pass. In its basic configuration, it creates a 45° chamfer on both sides; if you swap the profile inserts, it rounds both edges with a R2.5 mm radius. The centrally located guide ball bearing (Ø 16 mm) runs along the workpiece edge and guides the router bit even on curved contours.

Use the included spacer discs to adjust the router bit to the thickness of the material—it is designed for workpieces 11 to 22 mm thick, so that the profiles are symmetrical at the top and bottom. The cutter has an outer diameter of 22 mm, an 8 mm shank , and is carbide-tipped with peripheral cutting edges (Z2+2) and right-hand rotation.

It can be used in hand routers, bench routers, the RUWI router table on CNC machines. If you only need to chamfer or round off a single edge, you’ll find simple chamfering and rounding cutters in the RUWI .
