Brief description

The router machines the top and bottom edges of a workpiece in a single pass. In the basic configuration, it cuts a 45° chamfer on both sides; if you swap the profile parts, it rounds both edges with a radius of R2.5 mm. The centrally mounted ball bearing (Ø 16 mm) runs along the workpiece edge and guides the cutter even along curved contours.

Use the included spacer discs to adjust the router bit to the thickness of the material—it is designed for workpieces between 11 and 22 mm thick, ensuring that the profiles are symmetrical at the top and bottom. The cutter has an outer diameter of 22 mm, a shank diameter of 8 mm, and is carbide-tipped, peripheral-cutting (Z2+2), and right-hand cutting.

It can be used in hand routers, bench routers, the RUWI router table, and on CNC machines. If you only need to chamfer or round a single edge, you’ll find simple chamfering and rounding cutters in the RUWI router bit selection.
