Brief description
The RUWI support rail is a 120 cm long aluminum profile (40 × 40 mm) with a permanently bonded anti-slip surface. The surface holds boards and panels in place through friction, allowing you to saw, rout, or sand them without needing additional clamps. This is the bonded, budget-friendly version of the RUWI support rail.
It is secured using two clamping brackets with 20 mm clamping bolts, which you tighten into the hole pattern using an Allen wrench (size 6). Extending beyond the edge of the table, the rail increases the support surface for long workpieces. The steel end caps, open on both sides, keep the profile groove clear so that rail clamps such as Bessey GTR, Festool FSZ, or similar models can be inserted—allowing you to clamp workpieces vertically or horizontally to the rail. The anti-slip coating can be replaced if worn.
For most tasks, you’ll need two rails so that the workpiece is supported on both sides. If you prefer to secure it tool-free using a clamping lever and want a thicker support base, the support rail with clamping bolts and a clamping lever is the alternative; a set of two rails with clamping levers is also available. The RUWI lift tables provide the perfect base; you can find additional accessories in the lift table system.
