Brief description

When you're working on long or large workpieces, you often don't have enough support. The workpiece tips over, and the cut becomes imprecise. This can quickly become dangerous, especially when using a band saw or a table router.

The AIGNER table extension provides additional support exactly where it’s needed and ensures the workpiece is guided smoothly. It attaches to the machine tool-free using a clamping lever via a mounting rail or the RUWI mounting adapter, and can be removed just as quickly.

A foldable, height-adjustable leg is located beneath the anodized aluminum work surface. It locks into place automatically when unfolded and adjusts to the machine’s height (755 to 1,000 mm). The support surface measures 1,100 × 172 mm. Using the optional connecting bar, you can mount a second table extension in a row to further extend the support surface.

The table extension can be used on a variety of machines, such as band saws, table routers, circular saws, planers, automatic planers, or belt sanders—anywhere additional support is needed. This allows you to process even long workpieces safely and with precision, without needing a second person at the machine. AIGNER manufactures this safety equipment in Germany.

Possible applications

Machining long workpieces, such as molding strips, on a table router—additional support if the router table is not sufficient
Cutting large panels on a panel saw – when wide pieces do not rest completely on the table
Use a planer or jointer to joint and plane long workpieces
Mounting stops and fixtures – Platform for the circular stop on the band saw or the crosscut stop during slot milling
Guide long workpieces without needing a second person, instead of having to prop them up
