R10 rounding cutter with guide bearing

Brief description

The R10 rounding cutter rounds off wood edges with a 10-mm radius—a large radius for deeply rounded, easy-to-grip edges. The ball bearing (Ø 12.7 mm) on the cutter head runs along the edge of the workpiece and guides the cutter even along curved contours for which no stop fits. This allows you to round off straight edges as well as curved tabletops, handle strips, or handrails.

The cutter is double-edged and carbide-tipped (HW), right-hand cutting, with an outer diameter of 33 mm and a working length of 16 mm. Its 8 mm shank fits in hand routers, bench routers, and the RUWI router table (8 mm collet) as well as on CNC machines. It cuts softwood, hardwood, and laminated panels. If the ball bearing wears out, you can replace it—instead of replacing the entire router bit.
