The idea behind it

This HPL-coated panel (120 x 80 cm) is just the thing if you want to give your lifting table high-quality upgrade. The durable HPL coating is not only extremely scratch-resistant but also resistant to glue and solvents—just give it a quick wipe and you’re done. The precisehole grid CNC-milled to exact specifications and is compatible with Festool and many other clamping systems. This saves you the hassle of drilling your own holes and ensures perfect accuracy, whether you’re gluing or clamping. By the way: Even colleagues with their own CNC machines often prefer this panel—it’s a real time-saver for the price.

Brief description

The RUWI HPL Hole Grid RUWI Basic is the hole grid top for the RUWI lifting table —available separately for woodworkers who want to hole grid their existing lifting table hole grid, replace a worn-out top, or equip their own base frame a work surface designed for professionals. Table size: 1,200 × 800 mm; 23 mm thick panel made of low-warp birch multiplex with HPL coating on both sides. The coating on both sides balances out stresses, ensuring the panel remains flat.

You get 96 chamfered Ø 20 mm holes in a 96 mm grid, precisely CNC-milled. This dimension is the established perforated table standard – 96 mm is three times the 32 mm system used in cabinet making. Clamping bolts, stops, and clamps sit without play, ensuring dimensional accuracy for repetitive operations. The holes are pre-milled, saving you the effort of drilling them yourself. The HPL surface is scratch-resistant, moisture-resistant, and resistant to solvents – and glue doesn't stick to it: cured residues flake off, making the plate a clean gluing and assembly surface.

Using the 20-mm grid, you can secure workpieces with clamping bolts, stops, and quick-release clamps, and work with the guide rail against the stop. Standard 20-mm accessories—such as the Festool MFT, Sauter Variobench, or RUWI —are universally compatible. The format corresponds to the RUWI lifting table .
