Here's what's included
• 1 × Guide assembly
• 2 × Slide rails with retractable support rollers
• 1 × Installation and operating instructions
The support extension adds a retractable support to the RUWI lifting table 300 for long and large workpieces. When needed, simply pull out the two rails and lower the support rollers—a workpiece clamped to the side of the table and extending beyond the edge will then rest securely, rather than sagging or touching the floor. This protects it from pressure marks and dirt and provides the setup with additional stability.
The two pull-out rails are equipped with support rollers (Ø 75 mm) mounted on double-bearing ball swivel rings—each roller supports up to 75 kg. The guide rail is made of powder-coated sheet steel, while the pull-out is made of anodized aluminum with a rubber lining that protects the workpiece. When the support isn’t needed, you can slide the rails back in to save space.
Here's how to use it
- Machining the sides of doors and panels: The workpiece, clamped vertically in the clamping profile, rests with its bottom edge on the rubber rollers—the edge stays clean, and it doesn’t touch the floor.
- Guiding long workpieces during milling and sawing: the rollers on the swivel ring rotate in the direction of feed—the workpiece glides rather than scrapes.
- Supporting heavy overhangs: Two rollers, each rated at 75 kg, can support even massive planks and frames—the weight no longer pulls on the clamp.
- Extend only when needed: Pull out the rails, lower the casters, work—then slide it back in, and the table retains its dimensions.
Does this go with your lifting table?
The support slide is designed for theRUWI lifting tables models in the 300 series —Basic, Classic, and Premium—on the base frame 300. One important limitation: It does not fit the 300 XL and 400 XL Akku models—their base frames have a different design. You can secure workpieces on the sides over the clamping profiles using clamps such as the Bessey GTR 160/60.
