The RUWI vertical toggle clamp with adapter plate secures your workpiece from above—the anti-rotation version for the 20-mmhole grid. The round adapter plate (Ø 140 mm) anchors to the grid using two stainless steelclamping bolt (Ø 20 mm, SW 6 Allen screw): Two anchor points hold the clamp in position, even when lateral forces act on the arm. Using the plate’s elongated hole, you can freely position the pressure point between the grid holes.

The stroke compensation can accommodate material thicknesses up to 40 mm, 35 mm of which are clamped automatically without readjustment. With a length of 244 mm, the clamp easily spans panels, frames, and individual parts; for particularly thick components, place the 50 × 50 adapter block underneath to increase the clamping height.

Here's how to use it

  • Hold the workpiece down while milling and drilling: the workpiece is securely held in place, and both hands remain on the machine and the guide—the two-point grip holds firm even if the workpiece pulls on your arm.
  • Set the pressure point freely: the long slot allows the clamp continuously to slide between two grid holes—the pressure is applied directly to the glue joint or drill hole, not next to it.
  • Batches without readjustment: the 35 mm automatic stroke compensation accommodate varying material thicknesses—open the lever, change the part, close the lever.
  • Clamping thick components: Placing an adapter block underneath increases the clamping height—beams and structures stay securely in place.

The two clamping bolt fit into any 20-mmhole grid —including any RUWI lifting table , Festool MFT, Sauter Variobench, and homemade setups. The horizontal toggle clamp applies lateral pressure via adapter plate; if a single anchor point is sufficient, the vertical toggle clamp with a clamping bolt is the more compact solution.
