Brief description

The RUWI support rails consists of two 120-cm-long aluminum rails with a non-slip surface that you secure to thehole grid your workbench or multifunction table. The anti-slip coating holds workpieces in place through friction—securely enough that you can machine or sand edges without applying additional pressure. Two rails placed parallel create a secure support surface; when placed crosswise, they form a straight stop – for example, as a reference edge when gluing frames or for a 90° stop. The 12 mm thick multiplex sole with its anti-slip coating also serves as a sawing base: you can saw through on the rail with your circular saw, even if the cutting depth is set a bit too deep, without cutting into the table. If you extend the rails beyond the table edge, you increase the support surface for long workpieces and can simply remove them after use.

The steel end caps, open on both sides, protect the ends and keep the profile groove clear, allowing rail clamps such as the Bessey GTR, Festool FSZ, or similar models to be inserted—so you can clamp workpieces vertically or horizontally to the rail. The set fits the RUWI and any table with a standard 20-mm profile. If the surface eventually wears out, you can replace it with the separate replacement surface.
