Here's what's included
• 1 × clamping bolt (two-piece set)
• 1 × socket screw
Which clamp holds your workpiece in place?
The Clamp Finder guides you from the workpiece to the right clamp.
With the clamping bolt, you can convert existing toggle clamps with a center hole in the base plate to the 20-mm hole grid. Insert the stainless steel clamping bolt through the base plate of the clamp and secure it with the included socket screw M8 (hex socket SW 6)—then insert the clamp from above into any 20-mm hole. This allows push-rod, vertical, and horizontal toggle clamps—such as those from Bessey or AMF—to continue working on your hole grid or multifunction table.
The clamping bolt features a stepless, automatic 13-mm leveling function—the clamp automatically compensates for minor height differences. The bolt is made of stainless steel with a textured surface; the screw is galvanized.
Here's how to use it
- Reuse existing clamps: The toggle-lever and push-rod clamps from the metal shop have their bolts inserted into the center hole—and are now being used in the “ hole grid ” instead of on the screw plate.
- Adjust the clamping points: Insert the clamp and bolt from above into the next hole—the clamping position follows the workpiece across the entire table.
- Compensating for height differences: The 13 mm of automatic adjustment accommodates tolerances between the clamp, bolt, and plate—the clamp fits snugly without the need for shims.
Does this fit your clamp?
This requires a center hole in the base plate of your clamp, through which the Ø-20 bolt engages with the M8 screw. On the table side, the bolt fits into any 20-mm hole grid —the RUWI lifting tables Basic, Classic, and Premium models, as well as the Festool MFT and other multifunction tables. The clamping bolt with washer is available as a replacement or additional bolt for the RUWI clamping system; the lifting table system features pre-assembled RUWI clamps for the grid.
