Table extension for mounting rail

Brief description

The table extension provides support for long workpieces that your table alone cannot accommodate—doors, furniture panels, or stair stringers rest securely on it instead of tipping over the edge. You can attach it to the mounting rail without tools. It comes in two lengths: short at 77 cm for moderate overhangs, and long at 104 cm for when the workpiece extends well beyond the table edge.

The tabletop is made of anodized aluminum, and the frame is made of galvanized steel—both designed for heavy-duty use. The folding support leg adjusts tool-free from 66 to 106 cm, so the extension sits exactly at table height. Three slots (Ø 8 mm) are cut into the support surface: You can use these to clamp clamps—such as the Bessey GTR—or stops directly onto the extension. If you need even more surface area, you can hang several in a row.

The mounting system is compatible with the AIGNER mounting rail—the standard that many master carpenters have been using on their table routers for years. 

When you're done, just fold up the footrest and hang the extension on the wall—it takes up hardly any space.

• Simply clip it into the existing AIGNER mounting rails—no modifications to the current setup required
• Hang it up without tools and adjust the height (66–106 cm) to match the table height exactly
• Clamp the clamps (such as Bessey GTR) and stops directly onto the extension using the three slots (8 mm diameter)
• Multiple extensions in a row for even larger contact surfaces
• For RUWI drilling and milling tables, Festool MFT, and Sauter Variobench (adapter may be required)
• Folds up and hangs on the wall – stores away neatly when not in use
