R5 Rounding Cutter with Guide Bearing

Brief description

The R5 rounding cutter rounds off wood edges with a 5 mm radius – cleanly and evenly. The pilot ball bearing (Ø 12.7 mm) on the cutter head runs along the workpiece edge, guiding the cutter even on curved contours where a fence won't fit. This lets you round off straight edges as well as curved shelves or decorative components.

The router bit is double-edged and carbide-tipped (HW), right-hand rotation, with an outer diameter of 23 mm and a cutting length of 10 mm. Its shank fits in hand routers, bench routers, and the RUWI router table collet), as well as on CNC machines. It cuts softwood and hardwood as well as laminated panels. If the ball bearing wears out, you can replace it—instead of having to replace the entire router bit.
