RUWI and Aigner
Let's join forces. To make the workshop better.
When working with jigs on RUWI router table or other woodworking machines, there’s often no clean way to securely attach them to the machine—homemade solutions are quick to make but difficult to secure properly. The AIGNER clamping shoe provides a secure connection: Mounted on a mounting rail, integral stop, or mounting plate, it holds your jigs and fixtures directly in place. AIGNER manufactures this safety equipment in Germany.
tool-free is positioned and secured using the clamping lever and continuously along the rail—moldings, stops, and custom-built components stay securely in place and can be swapped out just as quickly.
Here's how to use it
- Facing board on the router fence: The board is secured by the clamping shoe—and can be removed for the next adjustment without having to use any screws.
- Auxiliary stops on the integral stop: Custom stops and gauges connect to the existing AIGNER interface.
- Quick-Change Fixtures: Safety and machining fixtures are swapped out in sync on the mounting rail —release, swap, clamp.
Will this fit your machine?
When ordering, select the width based on the mounting configuration: 40 mm for a compact single-point mount, or 172 mm for a wider mounting surface and greater stability. Mounting rails, integral stops, and mounting plates from AIGNER are available separately; instructions for use are included. The overview shows the AIGNER collection.
