Brief description

The AIGNER table extension crosscut fence extends your machine table and gives you greater safety and control during slot milling. The aluminum table (surface area 1,100 × 172 mm, anodised) serves as a support for long workpieces; the adjustable crosscut fence (length 400 mm) acts as a kickback guard during slot milling.

You can move the crosscut stop continuously, swivel it up to 90°, and remove it completely if needed—it can be stored on the optional crosscut stop hanger. This way, you can use the extension sometimes with the stop for guided work and other times simply as a support.

Especially when plunge routing long workpieces, the cross fence lets you precisely define the entry and exit points and guide the workpiece in a controlled way. At the same time, the fence acts as kickback protection when plunging into the running tool.

A fold-out support leg is located under the platen; it locks into place automatically when unfolded. You can continuously adjust the height continuously 755 to 1,000 mm so that it sits flush with your machine table. The extension is secured and moved tool-free the clamping lever the mounting rail. AIGNER manufactures this safety technology in Germany.

Without the crossbar, you get the standard AIGNER table extension; to create a continuous surface, connect a second one behind it using the AIGNER connecting bar.
