When plunge-milling short workpieces, it is often difficult to guide the part safely past the milling cutter—due to limited contact surface, small dimensions, and the fact that working freehand poses a risk. The AIGNER clamping chuck solves this problem: A clamping jaw secures the workpiece against the continuously -adjustable counter jaw using the quick-release lever—once secured, it moves past the tool in a controlled manner. AIGNER manufactures this safety technology in Germany.

The long handle guides and keeps your hands at a safe distance from the tool; the clamping jaw compensates for variations in workpiece length and clamps securely every time. The anodized aluminum body is sturdy and lightweight—800 mm overall length with a clamping length of up to 550 mm.

Here's how to use it

  • Milling short parts: The clamped workpiece is guided in a controlled manner into the rotating tool—together with the table extension with a cross stop as a guided system.
  • Consistent clamping for production runs: Lift the lever, place the next part, lower the lever—the jaw compensates for differences in length, ensuring each part is clamped with the same force.
  • Small parts, steady hands: anything too small to guide by hand is guided by the loader—and the long handle keeps your fingers out of the danger zone.

The clamping slide is used on the table router and anywhere else where short workpieces need to be routed; instructions for use are included. It serves as a feed unit to complement the AIGNER table extension with a cross stop; the overview shows the AIGNER collection.
