Accessories

You’re probably familiar with the bench hook from your workbench—this is the round version designed for your table’s 20-mmhole grid . It fits into a 20-mm hole and provides your workpiece with a secure stop: You push the workpiece against the hook, and it won’t slip away while planing, sanding, or routing. The body is made of phosphated steel (108 mm long), and the ribbed stainless steelclamping bolt stays securely in place without cutting into the hole with a screw—which protects the perforated panel.

When ordering, choose the mounting option: S with an Allen screw (SW 6) stays securely in place once adjusted and is the affordable entry-level option; K with a clamping lever can be tool-free loosened and repositioned if the position changes frequently.

Here's how to use it

  • Planing and sanding against the grain: the board is in place, and the feed pressure holds it firmly—no clamp gets in the way of the plane.
  • Surfaces between two points: between two vise jaws—or a jaw and vertical toggle clamp — a flat workpiece is also securely held in place for surface machining.
  • Reading the cutting depth: The millimeter scale laser-etched on the side indicates the workpiece thickness—adjust the saw without having to reach for the caliper.
  • Setting reference points: Use multiple check marks in the grid to define attachments for fixtures and recurring parts.
