Brief description

You’re probably familiar with the bench hook from your workbench—this is the round version designed for your table’s 20-mm hole pattern. It fits into a 20-mm hole and provides a solid stop for your workpiece: simply push the workpiece against the hook, and it won’t slip away while you’re planing, sanding, or routing. A flat workpiece also lies securely between two hooks—or a hook and a clamp—for surface finishing.

The ribbed stainless steel clamping bolt (Ø 20 mm) holds securely in the perforated panel without cutting into the hole with a screw—which protects the perforated panel. Using the millimeter scale laser-etched on the side, you can adjust the hook’s height to match the thickness of the workpiece quickly and with repeatable precision: This ensures it remains just below the surface as a stop, allowing the tool to glide smoothly over it. It is conveniently operated from above.

Choose the version based on the fastening method: S – with a screw, it stays securely in place once adjusted and is the affordable entry-level option; K – with a clamping lever, it can be released and repositioned without tools if you frequently change the position. The hook fits into any RUWI HPL perforated panel and any table with a 20-mm standard pitch. For low clamping, combine it with the vertical clamp; you’ll find additional clamping accessories in the lift table system.

Possible applications

Stop for planing, sanding, and routing – the workpiece is pushed against the hook and does not slip
Clamp sheets between two bench hooks or between a hook and a clamp
Adjust the height using the mm scale to match the thickness of the workpiece – the hook remains just below the surface as a stop
Position mounting brackets and fixtures at a fixed reference point within the hole pattern
Tool-free repositioning on the K model with a clamping lever
Compatible with any perforated panel and any table with a 20-mm standard pitch
