How to use the RUWI safety system

The RUWI safety system comes completely pre-assembled and can be attached and adjusted on standard sliding table saws without any tools. Simply insert the clamping cylinder with the sliding block into the groove, turn it 90 degrees and clamp it in place. The feed fence has a long sliding block that matches the groove width of your machine.

Trimming solid wood

When trimming boards or planks, you clamp a clamping cylinder onto the front of the sliding carriage and place the swivel arm on top to hold the board securely in place. At the rear, press the feed stop against the face of the board to hold it in position.

If you use the premium set, you fix the workpiece at the front and rear with one clamping cylinder and swivel arm each. In addition, mount the two narrow auxiliary stops between the clamping cylinder and sliding carriage. The holding tips provide additional safety to prevent the workpiece from slipping.

Safe sawing of small parts

Holding small workpieces close to the saw blade is a thing of the past.

Place the auxiliary fence on the sliding carriage, set the angle and distance to the saw blade and connect it firmly to the sliding carriage using the swivel arm. Then place the feed fence in the groove, align it and secure it with the clamping lever.

Die große Verstellbarkeit von Spannzylinder und Druckteller erlaubt das sichere Spannen verschiedenster Werkstückgrößen. Damit setzt Du exakte Schrägen und Winkel mit höchster Präzision und Sicherheit um - ideal für anspruchsvolle Schreinerarbeiten. Durch die werkzeuglose und schnelle Montage kannst Du alle Komponenten flexibel anpassen und effizient arbeiten.

Clamping long workpieces directly on the sliding carriage (Premium)

Mit der Premium-Variante des RUWI Sicherheitssystems spannst Du lange Werkstücke sicher und präzise direkt auf dem Schiebeschlitten. Der zusätzliche Schwenkspanner und der schmale Hilfsanschlag ermöglichen Dir eine flexible Fixierung - ganz ohne Risiko. Du kannst die Bretter beliebig drehen und festklemmen, um den perfekten Zuschnitt zu erzielen.

Clamping cylinder

Der Spannzylinder lässt sich werkzeuglos an jeder Stelle in der Nut des Schiebeschlittens befestigen. Dank seines großen Verstellwegs kannst Du ihn flexibel montieren - sogar schräg oder in Kombination mit weiteren Vorrichtungen. Zusammen mit dem Schwenkarm fixierst Du Bauteile sicher, ohne sie mit der Hand halten zu müssen. So arbeitest Du effizient und geschützt.

Feed stop

Mit dem Zuführanschlag spannst Du Werkstücke sicher gegen den Hilfsanschlag - und Deine Finger bleiben außerhalb des Gefahrenbereichs. Der Griff mit Führungsnutenstein wird von oben in die Nut eingesetzt. Einmal positioniert, kannst Du ihn linear bewegen und den Abstand sowie Winkel zum Sägeblatt präzise über den Klemmhebel einstellen.

Pressure plate

Der Druckteller passt sich durch das Kugelgelenk und die Gummiauflage flexibel an Form und Größe Deines Werkstücks an. Selbst unebene Teile kannst Du sicher bearbeiten. Der Teller wird einfach gegen das Werkstück gedrückt und fixiert es zuverlässig für präzise Schnitte. Durch das Kugelgelenk lässt er sich in jede Richtung ausrichten - die Gummiauflage schützt Dein Material dabei vor Beschädigungen.

Swivel arm

The swivel arm consists of a handle with spindle and the rubberized pressure plate. It is attached to the clamping cylinder and can be rotated 360 degrees for ideal positioning. You then place the pressure piece on your workpiece and clamp it with the ergonomic handle. This means you no longer need to hold the workpiece by hand when sawing.

Wall panel

Das Wandpaneel sorgt für Ordnung in Deiner Werkstatt. Die pulverbeschichtete Metallhalterung wird neben Deiner Formatkreissäge montiert und bietet Platz für alle Komponenten des RUWI Systems. An den Haken und Halterungen ist alles übersichtlich und griffbereit verstaut - so sparst Du Dir langes Suchen und bleibst konzentriert bei der Arbeit.

Auxiliary stop angled

Der schräge Hilfsanschlag hilft Dir dabei, Bauteile sicher auf dem Schiebeschlitten zu fixieren. Du montierst ihn mit dem Spannzylinder und kannst ihn flexibel in Winkel und Abstand zum Sägeblatt verstellen - dank Langloch ganz individuell. Die Gummikante an der Längsseite bietet zusätzlichen Halt und verhindert das Verrutschen Deiner Werkstücke.

Safety note

Die beiden im Premium-Set enthaltenen schmalen Hilfsanschläge eignen sich ideal zum Besäumen oder Auftrennen langer Werkstücke. Du kannst sie werkzeuglos mit den Spannzylindern auf dem Schiebeschlitten fixieren. Die eingeschraubten Haltespitzen sorgen für extra Sicherheit - Dein Werkstück bleibt sicher in Position, auch bei anspruchsvollen Schnitten.
