The idea behind it

The clamping system uses the existing groove on your sliding table saw. You can fix fences at any angle with a single movement and saw safely.
The idea for the safety system was born in my own workshop. As a carpenter, I often lacked the right tools to work on small workpieces without putting my hands in danger.

Brief description

The most dangerous situations on a panel saw don’t occur with large panels—but rather with pieces that are small, narrow, angled, or wedge-shaped. In those cases, your hand inevitably has to get closer to the saw blade, and that’s exactly where accidents happen. The RUWI Classic sawing system takes care of this task for you. You securely clamp the workpiece onto the sliding carriage, flip the lever, and make the cut—keeping your hand in the safe zone.

The system uses the existing slot on your sliding table saw. Insert the clamping cylinder into the slot, rotate it 90 degrees, and tighten. Attach the swivel arm, place the pressure plate on the workpiece, and tighten the clamping lever. No tools required. Ready to use in 10 seconds. Tested and approved in accordance with DGUV and BGHM standards.

The included wall panel keeps the clamping cylinder, swivel arm, feed stop, and auxiliary stop within easy reach right next to the saw—so that safety equipment doesn’t stay in a drawer but is right at your fingertips the moment you need it. If you regularly trim long boards working alone, check out the premium version with a second swivel clamp and narrow auxiliary stops.
