The idea behind it

The clamping system uses the existing slot sliding table saw. With a single motion, you can secure stops at any angle and saw safely.
The idea for this safety system came to me in my own workshop. As a carpenter, I often lacked the right tools to work on small pieces without putting my hands at risk.

Brief description

The most dangerous situations on a sliding table saw don’t sliding table saw with large panels—but rather with pieces that are small, narrow, angled, or wedge-shaped. In those cases, your hand inevitably has to get closer to the saw blade, and that’s exactly where accidents happen. The RUWI sawing system takes this task off your hands. You securely clamp the workpiece onto the sliding carriage, flip the lever, and make the cut—keeping your hand in the safe zone.

The system uses the existing slot sliding table saw. slot the clamping cylinder into the slot , rotate it 90 degrees, and tighten. Attach the swivel arm, place the pressure plate on the workpiece, and clamping lever . tool-free. Ready for use in about 10 seconds. Tested by the German Social Accident Insurance Institution for the Wood and Metal Industries (BGHM) and awarded the DGUV seal of approval.

The included wall panel the clamping cylinder, swivel arm, feed stop, and auxiliary stop right next to the saw, within easy reach—so that the safety equipment doesn’t end up sitting in a drawer, but is right there when you need it. If you regularly trim long boards on your own, check out the premium version with a second swivel clamp narrow auxiliary stops.
