Accessories

This plug-in shaft with a permanently mounted guide ball bearing (Ø 5 mm) is the replacement part for the RUWI 45° miniature chamfering cutter (item no. 30190). The bearing guides the cutter along the edge of the workpiece—if it becomes rough or damaged after prolonged use, replace the plug-in shaft instead of the entire cutter.

Here's how to use it

  • How to detect bearing wear: If the starter bearing runs rough, no longer turns freely, or leaves pressure marks on the edge, the axle needs to be replaced.
  • Replace instead of buying new: Remove the front shaft from the milling cutter, insert the new one, and secure it—the fixed-tool milling head, with its intact cutting edges, remains in use.
  • A supply for continuous use: If you do a lot of milling with a pilot bearing, keep a shaft in your tool cabinet—this 10-gram part keeps the milling cutter running smoothly.

Does this fit your milling cutter?
