Brief description

The RUWI (Ø 20 mm) secures workpieces, stops, and guide elements tool-free the slot of aluminum profiles. Instead of tightening a slot nut an Allen wrench, simply flip the eccentric lever—it secures the parts in seconds and releases just as quickly.

When you flip the lever, an eccentric mechanism pulls the slot nut and locks it into the profile groove via a form-fit. This clamping force you clamping force approximately 2.5 kN clamping force with minimal manual effort. You can adjust the clamping range 0 to 8 mm to match the height of your workpiece; with overall height 44 mm, the clamp overall height flat.

The slot nut for Item and Bosch profiles—both have differently shaped slots despite having the same slot width, which is why there are separate versions. You can find other slot widths and the screw-on version with an external thread in the quick-release overview.
