  4. MAFELL-Complete – after registering with Mafell If you register the machine with Mafell, Mafell will cover repair costs for 36 months, including wear-and-tear parts. This is a service provided by Mafell at every Mafell authorized dealer. After your purchase, we’ll send you instructions via email—it’s best to register the machine right after delivery.

Planing window rebates, fixing doors that stick, adjusting fitting strips, trimming protrusions flush: The one-handed plane shines during installation and repairs. The MHU 82 has a planing width of 82 mm, a cutting depth of 0 to 3 mm, 800 W for continuous use, 12,000 min⁻¹ at the planing shaft, and weighs 3.4 kg. The handle is positioned at the center of gravity, making it a one-handed planer. For planing and rebate work on solid wood.

Here's how to use it

  • Doors, trim strips, baseboards: up to 3 mm depth of cut per pass, infinitely adjustable.
  • Dust extraction: Connection Ø 35 mm; an extraction nozzle with an inner Ø of 38 mm is included. For information on why dust class M is recommended for wood dust, see the article on wood dust extraction.

Does this fit in your workshop?

The hand planer does not produce edges suitable for gluing; that is the job of the jointer. The planing shaft (Ø 59.5 mm) is equipped with carbide indexable blades; one pair is included. Replacement blades are available in sets of 1 pair (091696) or 3 pairs (091697); clamping jaws (035101) and dust bag (033707) are available upon request. T-MAX carrying case.
