Here's what's included
• 1 × RUWI Clamping Bracket with Quick-Release Mechanism
Which clamp holds your workpiece in place?
The Clamp Finder guides you from the workpiece to the right clamp.
The RUWI clamping bracket with quick-release mechanism creates a tool-free clamping and connection point in your aluminum profiles. Using the eccentric lever, the integrated slot nut clamps into the profile groove—flip the lever, and the bracket locks securely in place with approximately 3 kN of force; flip the lever back, and you can reposition it. This allows you to position, secure, and connect profiles without using screws.
The hinge is available in two sizes: for slot 6 (30-series profiles, 34 mm overall height, 6 mm adjustment height) and for slot 8 (40-series profiles, 44 mm and 8 mm). The body is made of die-cast zinc and burnished steel; the eccentric lever is made of powder-coated cast aluminum.
Here's how to use it
- Positioning and securing profiles: In fixture construction, the angle moves along with the fixture—simply flip the lever instead of threading and screwing in a slot nuts .
- Reinforcing the frame: In structures with varying configurations, the angle bracket connects the profiles at right angles and keeps the structure in shape.
- Assembly aid for prototypes: Structures made of aluminum profiles are created and modified on the fly—the connection points simply adjust accordingly.
- Working on workbenches: The bracket can also be clamped into workbenches and clamping plates—serving as a stop and mounting point on the surface.
Does this fit your aluminum profile?
When ordering, select based on groove width and profile system: slot 6 Item (30-series system), slot 8 Item, or slot 8 Bosch (40-series system)—Item and Bosch have differently shaped slots even with the same groove width; the groove shape is the determining factor, not just the width. The quick-release mechanism is consistent across the series; all sizes are shown in the quick-release overview.
