The RUWI quick-release clamp with external thread and clamping nut is the screw-on version of the RUWI aluminum profile quick-release clamps: While the standard version slides into the profile groove using a slot nut , this version is securely screwed in place via its external thread—for clamping points that remain permanently in place. Clamping is the same as for the entire series tool-free: Flip the eccentric lever 90 degrees, and the workpiece is securely clamped—move the lever back, and it is released.

There are two sizes: Ø 15 mm with M15 × 1 thread for slot 6 (Item) and Ø 20 mm with M20 × 1 thread for slot 8—where they are listed separately for Item and Bosch profiles, since both systems have differently shaped slots even though they have the same groove width. The clamping force is approximately 2 kN (Ø 15) or 3 kN (Ø 20), generated with minimal manual force on the lever. The base body is made of steel, and the eccentric lever is made of powder-coated cast aluminum, manufactured in Germany.

Setting up fixed clamping points: The clamping nut permanently secures the clamp in place—the clamping point remains in place even when workpieces change with each cycle.

Does this fit your aluminum profile?

Your profile will tell you which groove width you need: slot 6 usually fits 20 and 30 profiles, slot 8 fits 40 profiles. When ordering, select the appropriate item: slot 6 (Ø 15), slot 8, or slot 8 Bosch (both Ø 20)—the groove shape is what matters, not just the width. The overall height creates a shallow groove: 39 mm for Ø 15, 50 mm for Ø 20, with 7 or 9 mm adjustment height for the workpiece thickness.
