Brief description

The RUWI with external thread and clamping nut is the screw-on version of the RUWI . While the standard version slides slot nut the profile groove with a slot nut , this version is securely fastened using its external thread and the included clamping nut. As with the entire series, clamping is tool-free: rotate the eccentric lever 90 degrees, and the workpiece is securely clamped—move the lever back, and it is released.

There are two sizes: Ø 15 mm with M15 × 1 thread for slot (Item) and Ø 20 mm with M20 × 1 thread for slot (Item or Bosch). Important: Item and Bosch have differently shaped slots even though the groove width is the same slots hence the separate versions. The clamping force approximately 2 kN (Ø 15) and 3 kN (Ø 20), respectively, and is generated with minimal manual force applied to the lever. The base body is made of steel, and the eccentric lever is made of powder-coated cast aluminum, “Made in Germany.”

Your profile will tell you which slot width you need: slot is usually used on 20 and 30 profiles, and slot on 40 profiles. If you prefer to clamp directly with slot nut the slot, choose the version with slot nut; you can find larger sizes and other slot widths in the quick-release overview.
