W2 Dovetail Cutter for Hoffmann

Brief description

With this dovetail router bit, you can rout the keyways for the Hoffmann connector system in size W2—in both the lengthwise and crosswise directions of the wood. You slots the Hoffmann dovetails (W2) into these slots , which join two workpieces both by form and by friction, often without any clamps or glue at all. Because the joint holds in any angular position, it is suitable for butt joints as well as for miters and frames.

The double-edged solid carbide has a head diameter of 8 mm, an 18° flank angle, a cutting length of 6 mm, and overall length 45 mm. It is right-hand rotation works on both softwood and hardwood. The shank fits into any router; inrouter table RUWI router table , youcollet it using acollet .
