R2 rounding cutter with guide bearing

Brief description

The R2 rounding bit is one of our smallest quarter-round bits. With its replaceable ball bearing and two carbide-tipped cutting edges, it ensures clean, smooth curves—whether you’re working on straight or curved edges. The 2 mm radius creates subtle curves for a comfortable grip.

The guide ball bearing (12.7 mm diameter) guides the router bit along the edge of the workpiece; if it wears out, you can replace it individually. The router bit fits RUWI bench routers and standard hand-held and bench routers with an 8-mm collet. We use it in our own workshop to round off edges evenly.

If you need larger radii, the RUWI milling tools offer rounding cutters ranging from R3 to R12.7.
