The idea behind it

The shelf trolley was originally developed for our own production. We wanted to make our production and final assembly processes clearer and more efficient. The solution: each article, each assembly is given its own trolley with all the individual parts, tools and equipment required in one place. This means that everything has its place and the next work step is just a hand movement away. Mobile, flexible and in daily use at our company.

Brief description

The RUWI Shelving Cart is a mobile storage and staging system for workshops, assembly areas, and production facilities—manufactured in-house at RUWI. With a base area of approximately 100 × 61 cm and a height of 167 cm, it can hold up to 250 kg, distributed across its shelves (50 kg per shelf). The frame, made of aluminum and powder-coated steel, is scratch- and impact-resistant.

You can adjust the height of the shelves without tools and position them horizontally or at an angle—horizontally for stackable Euro boxes, and at an angle for open-face storage that allows for quick access. Systainers and other storage containers also fit. The shelves, sides, and back panel are magnetic: KANBAN cards and labels stay in place without adhesive, allowing you to clearly manage materials and restocking.

The cart comes fully assembled; you just need to attach the wheels yourself. If you need an additional sturdy work surface on top for storing items and working, choose the RUWI workshop cart —it has the same design but features an HPL worktop. You can expand both models with functional walls and other accessories. The shelf cart matches the RUWI lift tables in both design and height.
