RUWI Aigner

Joining forces to make the workshop better.

Brief description

The AIGNER pressure shoe and the AIGNER sliding shoe, when used in conjunction with the pressure module, are designed to guide and stabilize workpieces. Both versions ensure uniform contact pressure and hold the workpiece securely against the stop and on the machine table. They can be a useful alternative to pressure rollers, especially for narrow, long, or difficult-to-guide workpieces. The pressure shoe is made of wood and applies continuous contact pressure to the workpiece. The sliding shoe features a spring-loaded polyamide shoe and also includes a transparent polycarbonate protective shield. Its low-friction contact surface ensures that even coated or other sensitive materials are pressed evenly against the stop or onto the machine table. Depending on the application, two different solutions are thus available for controlled workpiece guidance and uniform contact pressure.

Applications

Creating grooves on the back panels of upright cabinet components using uniform contact pressure against an integral stop.

Milling slots, grooves, or profiles on RUWI router table a vertically mounted pressure or sliding shoe, which ensures even contact pressure on the machine table while partially covering the tooling area.

• Machining coated or veneered workpieces with low-friction contact and smooth guidance along the stop and the tool.

• Milling of narrow frame and molding profiles with uniform contact pressure across the entire width of the workpiece, rather than individual pressure points created by rollers
