R6 rounding cutter with guide bearing

Brief description

The R6 rounding over bit rounds wooden edges with a 6 mm radius – a medium radius for noticeably rounded, tactile edges. The pilot ball bearing (Ø 12.7 mm) on the router bit head runs along the workpiece edge and guides the bit even on curved contours where a fence won't fit. This way, you can round straight edges as well as curved table or stair edges.

The router bit is double-edged and carbide-tipped (HW), right-hand rotation, with an outer diameter of 25 mm and a cutting length of 13 mm. Its shank fits in hand routers, bench routers, and the RUWI router table collet), as well as on CNC machines. It cuts softwood, hardwood, MDF, and laminated panels. If the ball bearing wears out, you can replace it—instead of having to replace the entire router bit.
