Brief description

The AIGNER Contermax is a simple yet well-designed solution for a task that frequently arises in many workshops: clean profiling and counter-profiling on the end face.

This is often where things get tricky. You’re milling across the grain, the workpiece might be narrow, and it becomes harder to control. This is exactly where the Contermax comes in. It guides your workpiece smoothly and precisely past the cutter and, by clamping it against a backing block, ensures tear-free results.

An added benefit: The secure guide keeps your hand further away from the tool. This gives you more control and makes working safer.

Workpiece changes are quick and tool-free, thanks to a rotary knob. This makes the Contermax well-suited for mass production as well.

In short: The Contermax isn't a tool that takes center stage; rather, it helps you work cleanly and safely.
