AIGNER Quickly

When working with sliding blocks, you’re often faced with different widths, shapes, and lengths—and homemade handle solutions are usually makeshift, inflexible, and time-consuming to install. The AIGNER Quickly is the reusable handle designed for this purpose: simply attach it, flip the lever, and in seconds it’s positioned exactly where you need to grip it for the task at hand. AIGNER manufactures this safety technology in Germany.

Inside, a simple yet effective mechanism is at work: When the lever is activated, the front prongs grip the sliding board from above while simultaneously pulling the rear prongs into the end face—the grip holds securely without slipping and can be released at any time for repositioning. The prongs are wear parts; replacement prongs and a socket wrench are included.

Here's how to use it

• One handle, many sliding blocks: instead of screwing on a different handle for each task, the Quickly switches to the appropriate block—narrow, wide, short, or contoured.
• Grip position for the operation: Depending on the workpiece’s position, grip it at the front, in the middle, or at the back—release the lever, reposition it, and push it forward.
• Dispose of worn-out wood, but keep the handle: Cut off the worn-out sliding block and throw it away; the handle can be reused on the next one—use softwood like pine or spruce, which is gentler on the tips and power tools.
