RUWI Aigner
Joining forces to make the workshop better.
Brief description
The AIGNER pressure rollers work with the pressure module to give you controlled workpiece guidance right at the tool. The module's spring-loaded contact pressure keeps the workpiece in even contact, even with dimensional tolerances, and guides it steadily during feeding.
Depending on the model, the range of applications can be specifically expanded: from the universal single roller for spot pressure to the four- or six-roller configurations for longer and more even guidance over greater distances. The four-roller model is also available in a safety version with a polycarbonate protective cover.
Polyamide rollers are used when workpieces need to be reliably guided during mechanical or manual feed and additionally stabilized to prevent them from lifting or tilting—for example, with curved parts, thin workpieces, or when working close to the tool.
This ensures smooth guidance and consistent contact pressure, even during demanding milling operations.
Depending on the application, the AIGNER pressure shoe or sliding shoe may be the more suitable solution.
Applications
- Milling tall workpieces, for example, on the RUWI router table a bench-top milling machine.
- Routing round arch friezes or curved frame profiles with consistent contact pressure and secure guidance at the tool.
- Milling solid wood with varying thicknesses—the spring-loaded pressure compensates for dimensional tolerances and holds the workpiece against the stop and the table
- Milling narrow strips on a table router or on the RUWI router table with continuous contact pressure against the guide rail and table
- Processing thin panels or delicate workpieces with consistent guidance, preventing lifting or tilting.
- Routing close to the tool, where the workpiece is additionally stabilized and guided past the router bit in a controlled manner.
