Brief description

The AIGNER deflector is a safety device for table sliding table saw and sliding table saw. When ripping or cross-cutting, small pieces remain between the saw blade and the fence—if they end up in the rear section of the blade, the rising teeth can catch them and fling them back. The deflector guides these scraps to the side and keeps them out of the danger zone, complementing the riving knife.

You secure it to the machine table at any point using two strong holding magnets—quickly, tool-free just as quick to remove. This lets you position it exactly where the offcuts are produced and realign it as needed for each cut. When you’re done, you use the magnets to attach it vertically to the machine or the machine setup cart, so it’s within easy reach and out of the way.

The main body is made of wood – easy to machine if it ever touches the blade, and gentle on the cutting edges. AIGNER manufactures this safety technology in Germany.
