The AIGNER Deflector is a safety device for table and sliding table saw. When cutting or trimming, short pieces of material remain between the saw blade and the stop—if they end up in the rear section of the blade, the rising teeth can catch them and fling them back. The deflector guides these remaining pieces to the side and keeps them out of the danger zone—as a supplement to the riving knife. AIGNER manufactures this safety technology in Germany.

It is secured with two strong magnets at each point on the machine table— tool-free ly placed, aligned, and just as quickly removed. The base is made of wood: easy to machine should it ever come into contact with the blade, and gentle on the cutting edges.

Here's how to use it

  • Diverting offcuts: The deflector is positioned where the offcuts accumulate—they slide to the side instead of remaining in the rear section of the sheet.
  • Realign with each cut: Release the magnets, reposition them, and continue sawing—the position adjusts to the cut pattern without screws or tools.
  • Park it within easy reach: After work, the deflector attaches vertically to the machine or service truck using its magnets—out of the way, but immediately at hand.
