Brief description

The AIGNER deflector is a safety device for table saws and sliding table saws. When ripping or cross-cutting, small pieces of material remain between the saw blade and the fence—if these pieces end up in the rear section of the blade, the rising teeth can catch them and fling them back. The deflector guides these scraps to the side and keeps them out of the danger zone, serving as a complement to the riving knife.

You can secure it to any spot on the machine table using two strong holding magnets—quickly, without tools, and just as easy to remove. This lets you position it exactly where the offcuts fall and realign it as needed for each cut. When you’re done, use the magnets to attach it vertically to the machine or the machine setup cart, so it’s within easy reach and out of the way.

The main body is made of wood—easy to chip away if it ever comes into contact with the blade, and gentle on the cutting edges. AIGNER manufactures this safety technology in Germany.
