Brief description

The RUWI quick-release fastener (Ø 30 mm) is the strongest model in the series for the 8 mm groove in aluminum profiles. Instead of tightening a locking nut with an Allen key, you simply flip the eccentric lever—it locks in seconds and releases just as quickly.

When you flip the lever, an eccentric mechanism pulls the clamping block upward and locks it securely into the groove. This allows you to apply approximately 4 kN of clamping force with minimal effort—enough for heavy workpieces and fixtures. You can adjust the clamping range from 0 to 14 mm to match the height of your workpiece; with a total height of 63 mm, the clamp can also grip taller structures.

The groove nut is available in versions compatible with Item and Bosch profiles—both have differently shaped grooves despite having the same groove width, which is why separate versions are offered. You can find smaller sizes and versions for other groove widths in the quick-release overview.
