With the RUWI adapter plate , you can connect two aluminum profiles tool-free in seconds—without any screws. The plate bridges the joint; two integrated quick-release clamps engage in the profile grooves and are tightened using the eccentric levers; you adjust the clamping stroke to the groove depth using the clamping nut. Lift the lever, and you can release the connection just as quickly.

Here's how to assemble and disassemble frames, stops, and fixtures using system profiles. The size corresponds to the profile: slot 6 for 30-series profiles (plate 60 × 30 mm, approx. 2 kN), slot 8 for 40-series profiles (plate 80 × 40 mm, approx. 3 kN), and slot 10 for profiles up to 45 mm (plate 87 × 40 mm, approx. 3 kN).

Here's how to use it

Joining profiles by butt-joining instead of screwing: Place the panel over the joint, flip two levers—and the connection is made, without using angle brackets, threading slot nuts , or cutting threads.
Modifying structures on the fly: Open the lever, reposition the profile, close the lever—devices adapt to the task at hand rather than being rebuilt.
Exhibition Stand Construction and Equipment: Assembling and disassembling frame and mounting structures in series—the clamping points are in the same positions for every setup.
Mounting stops: As a connecting and stop element, the plate also supports additional components on existing profile frames.

When ordering, select based on slot width and profile system: slot 6 Item, slot 8 Item, or Bosch, slot 10 Bosch – Item and Bosch have differently shaped slots slots even with the same slot width; the slot shape is the deciding factor, not just the width. The integrated quick-release clamps correspond to the external-thread quick-release clamps in the series (Ø 15 for slot 6, Ø 20 for slot 8 and 10); all sizes are shown in the quick-release clamp overview.
