RUWI Allgäu: Miller in Leutkirch and the mima.de online store
As a tool manufacturer based in the Black Forest, we work with specialty retailers who carry our tools. In the Allgäu region, that’s Miller GmbH in Leutkirch: a family-owned business since 1975, now in its second generation, with a 4,000 m² showroom and the online store mima.de. This page tells you what you’ll find there from us, what you can try out for yourself, and who to call.
RUWI Miller
Miller carries our woodworking tools: RUWI router tables along with accessories, the safety system for panel saws, the Multiplex perforated panels, and the RUWI drilling table for bench and pillar drills, as well as clamping tools and milling tools.
All four systems are set up on-site in Leutkirch, and the product lineup is available online through the mima.de store. What sets Leutkirch apart from most other showrooms is that you’re allowed to work on the machines yourself in the test workshop. With a machine in this price range, that provides a different kind of insight than a spec sheet ever could.

The World of Experiences—and the in-house trade show twice a year
The centerpiece is the interactive experience area at the company’s headquarters: 4,000 m² where everything from woodturning lathes to CNC machining centers is set up and ready for use, with many manufacturers featuring their own demonstration stations. Advice is provided by people with a background in the trades. This includes a 3,500 m² logistics center that ensures product availability.
“Miller's in-house exhibition is truly unique. I don't know of any comparable show that can present such a refined selection of machines and tools across 4,000 square meters.”
— Florian Ruggaber of RUWI

Discussions at RUWI at the Miller in-house exhibition
Twice a year, in the spring and fall, the exhibition transforms into a trade show for the woodworking industry: More than 20 product consultants come to Leutkirch to demonstrate new products and answer questions right at the equipment. We’ll be there as exhibitors. All dates for the Miller In-House Trade Show.
From a Sharpening Service to a Trading Company—50 Years of Miller
In 1975, Friedrich Miller took over a tool-grinding shop in Leutkirch and turned it into a machine and tool dealership. In 1984, the company moved to the new Löwencenter; that same year, it became an authorized dealer for Felder—a move that marked the beginning of its machine sales operations. In 1988, the company moved into new facilities in Leutkirch-Adrazhofen, followed in 1993 by a new building in Aichstetten, where the company held its first in-house trade show in 1994. In 1997, a branch office was opened in Mönchweiler in the Black Forest, and starting in 2002, the company began representing Festool, followed later by DeWalt and Makita.
In 2018, the company returned to its founding location: the interactive experience center was built on a 4,000 m² site. In 2025, Miller celebrated its 50th anniversary with just under 100 employees. Today, the company is led by the second generation of the family—Kilian, Josef, and Karl Miller.
Product range and service
Miller is a one-stop shop for wood and plasticworking equipment: stationary machines of all sizes—circular saws, routers, planers, panel saws, CNC machining centers, and specialty machines—as well as power tools from Felder, Festool, Makita, Mafell, DeWalt, Milwaukee, and Fein; dust extraction systems; hand and machine tools; used machines; and accessories. Since 2016, more than 50,000 in-stock items have been available through the mima.de online store. Miller does not compete with home improvement stores but instead serves both the ambitious hobbyist’s workshop and the medium-sized woodworking shop.
More than 15 in-house service technicians handle delivery using our own fleet of vehicles, as well as setup, training, maintenance, on-site repairs, and installation—such as for exhaust systems. Spare parts and maintenance are also available for machines purchased decades ago—when an investment is expected to last twenty years, that’s what truly sets a supplier apart from a partner.
Contact, Directions, and Hours of Operation

Common questions
Will the RUWI fit the sliding table saw at Miller's?
For most of them, yes. Our safety system for panel saws is designed, among other things, for Felder machines with X-Roll, Format 4, and Hammer—Miller has been a Felder authorized dealer since 1984. It also covers Altendorf, Martin, Panhans, SCM, Holzkraft, and Minimax. The system has been tested by the German Social Accident Insurance Association (BGHM) and awarded the DGUV seal of approval. You can determine which model is right for your saw right there at the machine in Leutkirch.
Can I try out RUWI for myself RUWI Leutkirch?
Yes, and that's what sets it apart from a regular exhibition: At the test workshop, you get to work on the systems yourself instead of just looking at them. All four are set up and ready to go. Give us a call at +49 7561 91399-0 before you come to check if the system you want is available.
