HEES + PETERS has spun off a separate company dedicated to stationary machines: As of January 1, 2024, the former stationary machinery division has become the independent company H+P Maschinen GmbH, located at Ruwerer Straße 25 in Trier and led by Christopher Monzel, with HEES + PETERS serving as its parent company.
You don’t buy a woodworking machine the way you buy a box of screws. That’s why we start by discussing your needs—workpieces, production volumes, space, and budget—and base our recommendation on that, not the other way around. Our own technicians handle the on-site commissioning, including training. Afterward, maintenance, repairs, and—if necessary—machine relocation all remain in the same hands: short communication channels instead of long downtime.
If your budget doesn’t yet cover a new machine, we offer certified used machines that are tested and restored to working order by our own technicians before sale. We carry Altendorf, BARTH, Hofmann, Holzkraft, Schmalz, Schuko, SCM, and WAGNER, as well as compressed air systems and compressors. Since 1948: From a Horse Stable to a Specialty Retail Store
The story begins in 1948, when Eugen Hees and Heinz Peters opened a small retail store selling hardware and tools in a former horse stable on Maximinstraße in Trier. In 1972, the move to Schöndorferstraße led to the expansion of the product line to include tools, power tools, building components, and, finally, woodworking machines. Since 2001, the company has been located at 4 Metternichstraße; in 2015, the showroom expanded to 4,300 m²; and in 2023, the company celebrated its 75th anniversary—always under the motto “Let’s Get to Work Together.” In addition to H+P Maschinen, the group now includes MOHBA GmbH, which specializes in forestry, gardening, municipal, and cleaning equipment; since 2022, it has been an ISEKI Premium Partner with its own service workshop on Ruwerer Straße.

Trier is located in the “Three-Country Corner,” and that’s exactly how HEES + PETERS is positioned: Through six in-house truck routes, the delivery area extends across the Eifel, the Hunsrück, and the Moselle all the way to the Saarland and Luxembourg—with its own fleet of trucks that knows the region well. The company’s ability to handle large orders was demonstrated early on by its complete supply of machinery for a carpentry training center in Luxembourg.

Is the RUWI sawing system compatible with the sliding table saw, which is available from H+P Maschinen?
For most of them, yes. Our safety system for panel saws is designed for Altendorf, SCM, and Holzkraft, among others—brands that H+P Maschinen carries itself. It also covers Martin, Felder with X-Roll, Format 4, Hammer, Panhans, and Minimax. The system has been tested by the German Social Accident Insurance Association (BGHM) and awarded the DGUV seal of approval. You can determine which model is right for your saw during a consultation in Trier.
Machines from HEES + PETERS or H+P Maschinen—who should I contact?
Both options will get you where you need to go. For hand tools, power tools, hardware, and everything else related to the workshop, HEES + PETERS on Metternichstraße is the place to go. Since 2024, the subsidiary H+P Maschinen on Ruwerer Straße has been responsible for stationary machines and equipment—if you call the parent company, you’ll be transferred there.
