The RUWI quick-release clamp (Ø 15 mm) secures workpieces, brackets, and stops tool-free to slot 6 aluminum profiles. Instead of tightening a slot nut with an Allen key, simply flip the eccentric lever—it locks in seconds and releases just as quickly. Ø 15 mm is the smallest size in the series, designed for slot-6 profiles.

When you flip the lever, an eccentric mechanism pulls the galvanized slot nut upward and locks it into the profile groove via a form-fit connection. This allows you to apply approximately 1.5 kN clamping force with minimal manual force. You can adjust the clamping range from 0 to 6 mm to match the height of your workpiece; at 34 mm overall height , the clamp lies flat. The base body is made of steel, and the eccentric lever is made of powder-coated cast aluminum, manufactured in Germany.

Does this fit your aluminum profile?

The clamp fits into the slot 6—the small slot for 20- and 30-series profiles. When ordering, select the slot nut for Item or Bosch profiles: Both systems have differently shaped slots for the same groove width, which is why there are separate versions—the groove shape is the deciding factor, not just the width. Additional slot nuts are available upon request.

If the clamping point is to be permanently secured with screws, use the version with an external thread and a clamping nut; the larger sizes for slot 8 and slot 10 are shown in the quick-release overview.
