The RUWI quick-release clamp (Ø 30 mm) is the strongest size in the series for the slot 8 aluminum profiles. Instead of tightening a slot nut with an Allen key, you simply flip the eccentric lever—it locks in seconds and releases just as quickly.

When you flip the lever, an eccentric mechanism pulls the slot nut upward and locks it securely into the profile groove. This allows you to apply approximately 4 kN clamping force with minimal effort—enough for heavy workpieces and fixtures. You can adjust the clamping range from 2 to 14 mm continuously to match the height of your workpiece; with a 63 mm overall height reach, the clamp can also grip taller structures. The base body is made of burnished steel, and the eccentric lever is made of powder-coated cast aluminum, manufactured in Germany.

Here's how to use it

Securing heavy workpieces and fixtures: On 40-series profile frames in plant and special-purpose machinery construction, the Ø-30 size provides the clamping force that smaller clamps cannot deliver.
Accommodating protrusions: the 63 mm overall height and 14 mm clamping range can also accommodate thicker components and spacers.
Production lines and assembly fixtures: Set up and reposition aluminum profile structures in seconds—without any setup tools.
Adjusting the stops tool-free : Release the lever, move the guide element, close the lever—the adjustment remains fluid.

Does this fit your aluminum profile?

The clamp fits into the slot 8—the slot for 40-series profiles—as well as into grooves with this dimension. When ordering, select the slot nut for Item or Bosch profiles: Both systems have differently shaped slots for the same groove width, which is why there are separate versions—the groove shape is the deciding factor, not just the width.

If you prefer a shorter length ( clamping force ) with a flatter profile, the Ø 20 mm quick-release skewer for slot 8 is the slimmer option; the quick-release skewer overview shows all sizes and the screw-on external thread versions.
