RUWI swivel clamp sliding table saw

The RUWI swivel clamp is a quick-clamp for the sliding table saw. Using the eccentric lever, you can clamp tool-free with one hand. The rubberized clamping plate sits on a ball joint: It adapts to the shape of the workpiece—even uneven parts—and protects the surface. This allows you to hold down springy or warped solid woods such as oak, beech, or ash without them springing up during the cut.

The maximum clamping height is 135 mm; the clamping cylinder is adjustable via the eccentric lever, and the pressure spindle features a rubberized clamping handle—with a force of 2.1 kg net weight , the clamp moves effortlessly between clamping positions.

Here's how to use it

• Cutting small and irregularly shaped pieces: Strips, wedges, and special shapes are placed under the pressure plate—keep your hand on the slide, not on the workpiece next to the blade.
• Hold warped solid wood in place: the ball-joint plate applies even pressure across the entire surface of warped planks—oak and beech remain flat instead of springing up during the cut.
• Trimming long planks: as a second clamp mounted directly on the sliding carriage’s “ slot ”—the plank is held at two points and moves smoothly through the blade.
• Clamping in rhythm: Lift the lever, move the part, lower the lever—one hand clamps it, while the other feeds the next workpiece into place.
