Brief description

The RUWI swivel clamp is a quick-release clamp for the panel saw. You can tighten it with one hand using the lever—no tools required. The rubberized pressure plate sits on a ball joint: It adapts to the shape of the workpiece—even uneven parts—and protects the surface. This allows you to securely hold down springy or warped solid woods like oak, beech, or ash without them bouncing up during the cut.

The maximum clamping height is 135 mm. The swivel arm is available for Altendorf, Format 4, Martin, Felder X-Roll, and Hammer Series 3—the arm length is tailored to the specific saw model. It integrates seamlessly into your existing RUWI sawing systems —for example, to upgrade a Classic set to a Premium set.

Possible applications

Quick, tool-free clamping of small or irregularly shaped workpieces such as strips, wedges, and special shapes
Holding down springy or warped solid woods such as oak, beech, or ash
Second clamp for trimming long planks – fits directly into the groove of the sliding carriage
