How tall are you?
Set the slider to your height, and the lifting table will take you there.
Why?
Rule of thumb from ergonomics according to Grandjean; not a measured value: light work 10 to 15 cm below the elbow; work requiring downward force 15 to 40 cm below. Without a workpiece, we assume light work on the worktable. The clamping workshop will show you what you’re actually clamping.
No video: The table, scissors, and cylinder were calculated from our CAD files. The carpenter is a scale model based on body proportions; the angle was calculated using the model, with stiff knees—in real life, you’d actually bend your knees more when you go all the way down. Red indicates 60° or higher, the angle that ISO 11226 no longer accepts for trunk inclination.
