RUWI AIGNER

Our workshop isn't just filled with what we build ourselves. Some tools aren't made by us, but by family businesses we've built a real connection with over the years. Think inventors, reputable companies, manufacturers with real substance. We use what they build ourselves – day in, day out, on our own machines. AIGNER from Reisbach in Lower Bavaria is one such company.

Georg Aigner and the integral fence

The spindle moulder is a machine that even experienced carpenters respect – and rightly so. Where the tool exits the fence, a conventional spindle moulder fence leaves an open gap. This is exactly where things get critical if a workpiece tilts or kicks back.

Georg Aigner has filled this gap. His integral guide guides the workpiece continuously with swiveling struts, even over the tool. Today, virtually all major milling machine manufacturers install it as standard equipment: Martin, SCM, and Felder Format 4. What began as one man’s idea has long since become the industry standard.

Georg Aigner has since passed away. We knew him – someone who turned a problem over and over until the solution truly held up. Oliver Loibl continues his work today, with the same high standards.

Tools for a professional lifetime

When it comes to AIGNER, colleagues often say the same thing: “You buy this once in a lifetime.” That really says it all. The fixtures are machined from solid material, feature clean workmanship, and are thought out down to the last detail. They tackle precisely those tasks that are tricky on the router and solve them so thoroughly that the solution holds up. We understand this design philosophy—our lifting tables and router tables are born from the same philosophy.
